Details

Cross-linked polyethylene foam (also known as chemically cross-linked polyethylene foam), abbreviated as XPE, is a closed-cell foam material with a relatively fine and independent structure. It is produced using low-density polyethylene (LDPE) and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA) as the main raw materials, along with a foaming agent (such as AC) and various other chemical raw materials. The manufacturing process involves mixing, processing, shaping, foaming, setting, and post-processing. The resulting material has a relatively flat surface, excellent resilience, high chemical strength, superior heat insulation, waterproofness, aging resistance, high-temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and excellent weather resistance. It can also undergo various simple and complex secondary processing.
