Introduction to Foam Knowledge and Applications

Foam is a material made by foaming plastic particles, also known as foam. Foam has a series of characteristics, including elasticity, light weight, quick pressure-sensitive fixation, ease of use, flexibility, ultra-thin volume, and reliable performance.

Advantages of EVA Foam

1. Water resistance: Closed-cell structure, non-absorbent, moisture-proof, and good water resistance.

2. Corrosion resistance: Resistant to corrosion by seawater, oils, acids, and alkalis, antibacterial, non-toxic, odorless, and pollution-free.

3. Processability: Easy to hot press, cut, glue, and bond.

4. Shock absorption: High rebound and tensile strength, strong toughness, and good shock absorption/buffering performance.

5. Insulation: Heat insulation, excellent cold and low-temperature performance, can withstand severe cold and exposure to the sun.

6. Sound insulation: Closed-cell structure, good sound insulation effect.

Applications of EVA Foam

Suitable for children's toys, handicrafts, stationery, offices, sports equipment, decoration, home furniture, tourism, packaging, heat insulation, home appliances, electronic equipment, accessories, hardware, environmentally friendly packaging, skin care products, composite materials, auxiliary packaging raw materials, metal materials, and many other industries.

PU Foam
PU foam is made by mixing foamed resin, foaming agents, and adhesive resin (to give the finished product adhesive properties), and then foaming it. Mixing ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and other raw materials, foaming them in a mold, and breaking the closed cells with mechanical force can produce foamed sponge.

PU foam mainly includes polyester and polyether types, including air, water, and oil filtration sponges, water-absorbing sponges, non-water-absorbing sponges, breathable shock-absorbing, breathable non-water-permeable skin sponges, anti-static sponges, ordinary sponge series, slow rebound sponge series, injection molded sponge series, and craft sponge series.

PU Foam Characteristics:

It has good heat preservation, heat insulation, sound absorption, shock absorption, flame retardancy, anti-static, and breathability.

PU Foam Uses:

It is widely used in home appliances, instruments and meters, craft gifts, wood products, glass ceramics, building waterproofing, sound insulation, travel bags, clothing, home textiles, shoes and hats, toys, furniture, children's products, pet products, product packaging; including the automotive industry, battery industry, cosmetics industry, bra and underwear manufacturing, and high-end furniture manufacturing.

PVC Foam
Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) foam is a closed-cell polyvinyl chloride foam designed to provide a cost-effective solution for sealing light, air, and moisture. By adjusting the density (80kg/m³~500kg/m³), hardness (Shore 00 5°~99°), and resilience of the foam, it can provide performance suitable for various applications, making it ideal for applications such as vehicle body shock absorption, door and window sealing, water tank sealing, HVAC sealing, and electronic product buffering.
