Introduction to the XPE automotive air duct thermoforming process

The XPE automotive air duct thermoforming machine forming process is as follows:
1. The operator places the roll material into the automatic feeding mechanism, which feeds the material into the large beam guide rail with the set size.
2. Press the button to start automatically. The heating furnace automatically moves to the heating area, and the upper heating furnace starts to heat the sheet material to the set temperature (the temperature is set by the operator, and the set parameters are automatically saved in the machine's PLC. The PLC can save 30 different pieces of information, facilitating the production of other materials and saving parameters for different thicknesses).
3. The heated material is automatically pulled to the thermoforming station by the guide rail (the aluminum mold is installed on the lower mold table) and automatically synchronously vacuum-formed.
4. The product is automatically cooled. The cooling system has two sets of devices: water cooling and air cooling. Our company will randomly equip a 3-horsepower chiller, which is connected to water pipes in the customer's factory for water cooling. The air cooling device has two fans installed above the material thermoforming area for air cooling.
5. Then, the large beam track pulls the material to the fixed material receiving box and cutter position, where the cutter horizontally cuts each molded product and places it in the receiving box.
6. Transfer the products in the receiving box to the next process equipment for processing.
The automotive air duct thermoforming machine is designed by Shanghai Junjing Sai Thermoforming Machinery Co., Ltd. for XPE foam roll materials. It can produce automotive interior plastic parts such as car door armrest linings; it can also process thermoplastics such as PVC, PET, APET, PS, PP, and ABS.
